Once the date of service, time frame, and price are confirmed, I require a signed contract. For weddings, I also require an up-front deposit.
How do I pay?
For nearly all makeup clients, I accept Zelle, Cash App, Venmo, and cash. For wedding clients, I require final payment be made two weeks before the wedding.
For weddings, how do I prepare for the pre-wedding trial?
After deciding on a mutually agreeable pre-wedding trial date, I will email you with the following trial instructions:
-
Please refrain from wearing makeup products on the day of the trial. Regular skincare routine is recommended 3 weeks prior to your trial & wedding date. Please do not add any new skincare products to your routine a week or two before as this can cause acne and blemishes.
-
Wear a white/cream v-neck, white/cream button down, or white/cream tank top. This is optimal for your pre-wedding day trial if you plan to wear a white dress for the wedding.
-
Please bring makeup inspiration photos.
-
Please bring photos of your wedding attire.
-
Please bring photos of wedding attire for your bridal party.
-
Please bring any photos you may have of planned decor, flowers, or colors. This helps me visualize the overall style for your wedding look.
What can I expect from the pre-wedding trial?
For your upcoming wedding, we recommend allowing 90 minutes for the makeup trial. During this time, we will review the makeup and inspirational photos to ensure it meets your standards. We will also finalize the wedding day timeline and discuss whether any other parties will need their makeup done.
Are you able to do engagement shoots and bridal showers?
Great news! We offer engagement shoot and bridal shower makeup services as well. Please note that these services are separate from wedding makeup and trial makeup, and must be booked in advance. Contact us for more information and to schedule your appointment.
What can I expect on the day of the special event or wedding?
We will have discussed logistics during the initial consult and/or pre-wedding trial. If I am on location, I always build in sufficient time to park and get set up, and I am always on time. You should expect a calm, orderly makeup session.
What do I need to prepare for you on the day of the event?
All I require is a designated spot for me to set up. I bring two lights, a makeup chair, a table to set up all my materials, and a wagon to carry all my supplies.
What is your late policy?
If you happen to be late for your appointment, please note that you will be charged 30% of the service fee and I will only be able to complete the service within the remaining time. Our services usually take an hour to an hour and a half, so please make sure to arrive on time to avoid any inconvenience. Thank you for your understanding.
